I don't think I am too far away from at least one of my chickens laying her first egg!
One of my black sex links has had her wattles and comb for a few weeks now (I had posted about it a few weeks earlier). Now two others have their combs and wattles as well. The nesting boxes have been scratched around in every day this week. They have been more chill lately, and one squats sometimes when I pet her. They are around 18 weeks old.
There is still one buff orp that has no comb or wattles yet, pale face, and is the most obnoxious. Lol. She was always the loudest, and somewhat skittish, but with the others chilling out more, it has become more obvious. She was the biggest one when they were chicks, but now she's the late bloomer.
