getting hatching box ready

    i am making a homemade hatching box , and going to use it for the first time, what i am wondering is how can i get the humidity right before adding the eggs on the 18th day, ? is there anyway i can do this , so once i put the eggs in it will be set ??

    You need a hydrometer to measure the humidity. Add water and heat and the humidity should rise. If it doesn't rise enough try using a new wet sponge or a new wet athletic sock. The greater the surface area of the water the higher the humidity. If it remains lower than you need it to be add a humidifier to the room.
