Getting hens to drink

i have a 5 gallon hanging bucket with nipples on the bottom, but my chickens won’t drink from it. How do I get them to drink?

I introduced one to chicks, who took to it right away. But the hens wouldn't use theirs until the chicks were integrated w them and they saw the youngsters using it. They didn't want to be left out!

Try squeezing the ends so that a droplet of water comes out. They should see the little bit of water and eventually get the hang of it.
Chickens are quite intelligent creatures and don't take long to figure things out

Are you still supplying water in an easier to use waterer as well?
