Newbie here--
So I have wanted a goose (or two) for years and we are finally in a position to get them (and a half dozen chickens of course). I am hoping to get two Toulouse geese and was wondering how people in this forum are housing them. There is a whole section on chicken coops but not much on goose huts. We are going to be building a chicken coop and run and understand that they can share a run but should not share a coop so if anyone wants to share any images of their goose huts that would be a major help. I'm thinking about putting the respective homes on opposite ends of the runs.
Also, anyone know where I could get two young/hatchling toulouse geese in about two months (live in Los Angeles County)? Every place I look wants you to order 6 or more at a time and they're out for 2014. Food recommendations?
