Getting my chickens to use my coop.

It's not a high off the ground, but there are two different level of roost in the coop. One is the same size of board, the other is a wider two by four.

Sorry for all the questions, without an interior picture it is hard to picture, everyone has different setups.
Are they able to easily get onto the roosts in the coop are are the two roosts too close together that they can't even jump up to them?

I should add that roosts in the coop should be at least 18" apart from each other.

No, we don't have a porch light on. I started putting a light in the coop. Hoping the would attract them. Yes, they all like being on the roost, but again with the cold, I was concerned. I heard they a night blind, which is why I started running the light in the coop.

Cold no problem, heat much more of a problem. My opinion they know what is best, show them a couple of times then leave them alone.
