getting my friends hooked

Last night I was at a meeting, and several of my friends asked me "How is Chantilly doing? Is she home with you yet?"

I was kind of surprised! They even remembered her name!

(Chantilly is my very first - a GLW chick who is still w/ her birth family until Thanksgiving weekend)

of course! The other one I'm going to get as a companion for Chantilly has yet to be chosen. When I am able to see Chamelle's pics, I'll choose what kind I want.

Both of the wonderful people from whom I am getting chicks are traveling through here at Thanksgiving. I am so lucky -- they are bringing my chicks to me!! I'm hoping we can have our own little Chickenstock.

In Spring we will hatch out 2 more for me along with 10 or so for friends and neighbors.

DH came home for lunch today and said he consulted with our friend who is going to help us put up the coop. He said "probably this coming Saturday"!!!

I just hope it does not rain
