The black skins here are close to standard NN type, have been working to clean them of the crest(crest is totally gone, yay) and leg feathering genes(boy are leg feathering HARD to clean up). Imagine a standard NN type, except only with black skin.

Oh that reminds me, I also made silky feathered NN(not silkie type but like a regular chicken) and they were very cute.. Some of them were cuckoo and that with the silkie "fur"were fantastic to look at. Don't have those anymore, they went in my attempt to downsize the flock.
