Hi! I currently have 11 hens and they are all happy and healthy. I have some friends that have 10 chickens and 2 of them have killed 4 from their own flock! They are planning on killing the 2, but I am considering taking them in. I will not be putting them with my girls but instead on the other side of our house with their own coop and run. I’m hoping that better food, more toys, human interaction, and being outside they will get better. Are there any tips or advice anyone has for chickens like these? Thanks!

I think you have the right idea to segregate them. I happen to have a couple of hens that just can't get along with the main flock, so now the two make their own flock with their own run and sectioned off coop. It has worked out surprisingly well for all concerned.

I do not rescue chickens from inept keepers, or anywhere else.
Too much risk of bringing disease and pests into my flock.

If you do, quarantine is important...if you can actually pull it off.
