I have had chickens off an on most of my life...on acreage and backyards. I am renovating my last coop that started out as a big iguana enclosure..re-purpose of course! Grandkids are coming for the summer and want to surprise them. Everyone has been missing me having chickens. I have folks that saved their weeds and snails just for me! Egg exchange! I haven't lined up the purchase yet. Anyone know of laying hens available in the Santa Barbara area?
