Getting out

I have an Americana chicken and every day she gets out we don't know how and then goes and lays her eggs some where. How should I keep her in?

Go in the coop and look at things from her level and think how would I get out if I was down here

What kind of chicken? What size is she? I agree with above.

EEs can be escape artists, they will go over, under, and through wherever they can, watch her close and good luck.

Let her out in the morning and watch where she goes, then block up the hole.

If she can get out predators can get in, so definitely important to figure out where the hole is.

When this happens and I do not see a visible hole in my run (usually the run is where they get out) I just pile some big 'ol rocks around the outside, and that blocks up anything that I missed. If you see a hole, if it is over the size of a baseball, block it up with a big rock. It is is smaller, block it up with a little rock, just so the hen does not widen it while scratching around her pen.
