I'm bringing a bantam wc black polish hen (she's decent, but has been in a breeding pen for several months now, so not really in show condition), a Dutch rooster (I know nothing about Dutch, so I'm hoping to learn something by bringing him!
), and a black copper Marans hen (I know, not admitted to standard yet, but I think the more birds shown = the quicker they get into the standard. The hen is decent, but not perfect--not enough coppering, a bit of a funky comb, and while she has feathered legs, I think it should probably be a bit heavier). So...just a few birds, just for fun. I'm looking forward to learning--a lot!
I have some nice black Ameraucana pullets, but I just didn't have the time to coop them and cage train them. The few I'm bringing, with the exception of the Marans hen, have been handled a lot.
13 birds...
I hardly have time to worry about my 3! Good luck with all those chicken baths.
(o/t Tammy--pm me and lemme know if you got anything from those Am eggs?)
