I am getting 4 chicken in a few weeks and am currently getting everything ready for them. I have bought an eglu chicken coop. Should I put bedding in it? It does look very sterile and uncomfortable as it is.

Yes, I would recommend bedding.

Thank you. I live near Lichfield in Staffordshire. I was planning on getting Staffordshire hybrids from "Staffordshire Chicken in Eccleshaw". Good layers, hardy and very friendly chicken for my grandchildren to pet and look after when they visit.

Which coop do you plan to get?
Will you move it around your yard(garden?) or keep it in one place?
Yes, some bedding inside coop would be nice, not sure what is available over there.
