Getting the attention of our Lee County, FL commissioners!!

Well, we have created quite a stir here in Lee County, Florida!! What started out as us petitioning to keep our backyard chickens when we got a citation, has now turned into a media frenzy! We have been featured on Fox4 and Wink tv and the Ft Myers News-Press is creating a huge front page spread on this. We are very excited to also report that although code enforcement originally gave us til this Friday the 17th to evict our chickens, they have graciously given us a 2 week extension to see what the commissioners will do. If anyone out there lives in the Lee County area, the commissioners need to hear from you by phone calls. We are doing a petition, but phone calls and emails to their direct extensions are more effective..

We will be at Futral's Feed Store on Palm Beach Blvd on Sat. June 18th 8am til 5pm if anyone would like to come out and show your support!!!
