Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Love the pics of your merkan chicks, but I am partial LOL.

Bureaucracy has delayed our trip to Mexico- permits galore. Who knew that returning somebody to their homeland was do complicated *sigh* I'm leaving Saturday/ returning next Saturday.
transporting over borders can be tough - its easier to sit her in the back seat with a blanket up to her chin,

Over the years I have seen a few people die on planes. On the way to the Philippines invariably the body is found by a relative as we prepare to land in Guam, if they report the death before taking off from refueling, the body gets taken off the plane and the family has the added costs of now transporting a corpse.

Love the name. As you can guess by my username our roosters get food related names. I have had satay, stirfry, kfc and red rooster lol. I have never eaten goat I have a cousin that breeds them but now days she mostly breeds the milking type.

I first tried goat funnily enough - as satay - it was on the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia way back in 1986.

I spent my teenage years on a sheep farm in Oz and got pretty slick at butchering a sheep. Goats butcher the same way. I never cease to amuse the locals when I put a goat in the freezer.

Unfortunately Filipino goats are really small - more like pygmy goats. I have to get some Nubian cross breeds one day.

Ahh that's what she used to breed numbians. I couldn't remember I know she has both them and boer goats at some point but was not sure what was what. I am not all that adventurous unfortunately when it comes to meat as I was a vego for many years. I am not now but if it is not pretty ordinary I have probs trying it lol. I did have crocodile sausages recently and they were really yummy.

I to subscribed after reading the first couple pages. Reading 50 pages in one night is pretty tiring:)

I tend to leave BYC open often so I don't lose my place on some of the vast threads. I come to realize I miss a lot of things when I am reading on here.
