Hmmm I used to work in a garden shop Aeons ago. Now that I am reading more about iceplant so far I havent found one that is not edible...

oh and there are two kinds.... Carprobotus Edulis has smooth pickle shaped leaves and Aizocea which is the kind that has a few sub species with the cleary droplet looking things. Aizocea has 1600 different species. (info out of Wikipedia)

Nothing like walking on the CA coast line and having it grow everywhere. I love the pinkish flowers and even more so the type of leaves they have. Fond memories of walking down from my grandmas place to the little beach village.
