Count me in too! This is really exciting to read. I love that you transported so many eggs and are having SUCH a high fertility/viability rate with all that traveling! That is fantastic!

Hi Sally,

I cant use the quote feature as the internet is crapping out. It is really only reliable in the early morning for some reason.

I did no weigh the eggs. I forgot my "drug dealer scale" . I am just monitoring cell size now that i have experienced the changes in the past

I am down to about 50 viable. I spend time staring into the marans and can only see life in four of eight with one questionable. The Wyandottes are at full throttle. The Australorps are six from nine. Some of the OGM eggs were a little old when I got them but we decided to give them a chance. Most of the casualties come from those eggs. The control group from my original supplier are 15 for 18. Overall I will be pleased with a 50% hatch rate. I just hope I get 2 hens and a roo from eatch breed. The humidity has not gone below 49% and that was brief. It hangs at 53. The air cells are perfect on the viables.

Excellent! and those roads too I can only imagine the tossing of eggs! You should do some ducks as well, they are so awesome to candle and you can really see how much that yolk moves inside and can imagine even more them bouncing in shipping! I think some geese and such can live on the ocean too????... Sumi feeds some swans in ireland shores! interesting too!

When will we expect the first pips? and have you upped temps or 99.5??

My friend here has ducks. He wants me to bring some big meat breeds to cross with the the locals. Ducks are definitely on the agenda!!
