Wonder if that sound could be bred into other breeds so us urbanite's could have quieter roosters. Much quieter than the standard call.

2 very cute salmon faverolle chicks out, 2 pipped, 2 chirping in their eggs.

a slow but forward moving hatch

had a runaway bator....
it was running low today so i bumped it up 3f
just checked it & it's at 105f
i had just checked for clear eggs an hour before then so i guess it will be ok
unpluged the silly thing
cooled the eggs down some then put the lid back on
98.6 will have to work till i get up

ok folks time to hit the rack
may all of ya have a 100% hatch rate

it's only day 11 but i'll recheck on wed. which is the day is always set eggs
this works well because i am always off on wed.
