logistics are my problem now. 36 hours to take off and I have to work some. Let me see if I can work something out.You are welcome to the Legbars but I don't have that many as just filled the bator.
i think OZ should just bring a hen with him on the planeOz have you ever tried incubating eggs for 3-5 days before shipping? I read about that somewhere here. It's supposed to help stablize the aircells and apparently the embryos sort of go dormant until they get warmed up again. I would imagine that as long as they don't get too hot or too cold (and I don't remember them saying anything about what those temps would be) that it just might work.
Might be something to experiment with if you are able to work it out.
I have read about that as well. It seems that eggs can tolerate one drop in temperature but from what I read, if I remember correctly, it has to get down to 60-65F and stay there. Next time I will give it a try. I will have to put a couple of frozen hams in the golf bagOz have you ever tried incubating eggs for 3-5 days before shipping? I read about that somewhere here.
