yeah. hopefully your hatchees are pullets and the lco is a roo. I have a gut feeling we arent done with them, I like to see a group hatch within 24 hrs of each other but its only been 8 hrs since the first LCO hatched. The Andalusians are still going and hatched earlier. A couple more of the LCO would be awesome. It could be interesting to cross LCO with lavender orps too.
Then there is the Ameracaunas and possibly wellies and a single silkie.
We are drilling a 1/8th hole in any chirping eggs this time around as soon as they chirp. So far we have had 100% of chirpers hatch within 6 hours of giving them an air hole. Last hatch I lost too many that suffocated before they could get the egg open on their own.
Would that be an excess humidity issue?
I notice the STC 1000 people now have a similar gadget that controls humidity.
