we have been going through 50lbs of layer & another 50lbs of finish pellets each week
my wife has started to process our meat birds so soon there will be no need to purchase finish feed at all
however we did find a few pullets who managed to pose as cockerels in with them
i sold off 6 of them to a friend yesterday for $30 & i put a large black english orpington cockerel in with then for free
i figured they needed a fella to watch over them
not sure how pullets eating finishing feed will be affected so i kicked them out the door cheep
i think they will come around once they get used to their new diet.
i still have a few more if anyone is in new hampshire & needs cheep soon to be layers
