These are the June hatch. We got our first egg from them today. These include Kev's naked necks, some OGM heritage RIR as well as some

There is a lemon cuckoo orp in the mix

Then the farm animals

no motza pics

The September hatch

The white creme legbar? Also brown and white leghorns, SFH, banty cochins, BCM

July hatch - Scooby-too - the only named roo in honor of HFRs Scoobydoo - this guys papa

The egg house got an extension - nice and roomy now

The future goat house

Some great shots.

Looks like you have more land than I imagined, and it's all being put to good use without looking like a industrial area.

Hi five for Cocobeach
thanks

The out buildings are all well spread out. The front 30% will be reserved for the fruit tree orchard. its 30% house yard and 40% is for spaced coops, piggery and goat houses.

I am trying to use as much local material on the exteriors. I dont want an industrial park at all.

the new 4x4 breeder coops will have woven mat walls over 1/4th marine ply

Truly beautiful pics Oz! I was just imagining what it must sound like...picturing kids (human) running and playing, roosters crowing, hens singing, adolescent roosters crackling, goats maaaing and pigs squealing! Lots of good life sounds at the beach

You forgot the Karaoeke bar next door LOL

Apart from the bad singing, its a fun place.

New Motza pics. She was given Ivermectin pour on 3 weeks ago to de-worm and delice. She is a much happier water buffalo. It looks like she has filled out more too

The local turkeys, scovies and Visaya chickens

Our first egg from the edited Australorps Rhode Island Reds. The new breeding coops will be built just in time to finally start making a lot of birds

Thinking about your local turkeys, What ever happened with the Tom that would dive bomb you from a roost?
Motza is looking much better!
