yupIf hes charging $5 an egg, $2.50 for an EE, I think I'll look elsewhere![]()
Indeedi'll be sending a care package on the 24th
maybe you can get your roo
hell a few to choose from would be even better
but 1 is better than nothing
something i have found out the hard way, roosters can just fall over dead
best to have a "back up boy" if you can
even if he just hangs out with other "unmarried" roosters in their own pad
Papa has decent birds but he does not reduce prices.Gotta figure though, if you need A LOT of different breeds and you can get them all from the same place, you can save a bunch on shipping. Also, some eggs are worth paying more for.... I don't personally know much about standard, but for example some folks on here can easily charge $20+ for a chick because they're quality birds.. others can only get $5.
And seeing Oz needs a bunch, he can probably work a deal![]()
Id be interested in seeing some cornish x rocks fed ff......I gave crumbles and a local grain mix from the co-op the last 2 weeks. They had a really nice layer of fat.I stopped the FF during the summer and sold all the little stinky birds, not for me, I need meat, like big chicken breastesses, juicy white meat. I am spoiled
