thanks for the well wishers.
yesterday was brutal.
I managed to get to the southern end of Bacolod in s brush 2 hours. it then took 90 minutes to pay $30 change fee on a plane ticket.
I then went to Citi Hardware in Tangub - close by - to get the 6 pieces of roofing. I then heard my most feared local expression "no stocks". Off to the branch on the north side of town.
it took 1 hr to drive 7 km
I got the supplies quickly once I arrived. A quick bite next door and off to the bank.
2 hours to drive 4 km
I managed to take 2 wrong turns which put me into drivers hell on a good day.
Forty five minutes in the back having documents signed and notarized then off home.
3 more hours.
8 hours of driving, 3 hours of noon-vehicular interaction. home at 8pm
I did not turn the windshield washer blades off the entire 8 hours in the car. the storm is amazing.
at least I made it alive so I had one more night cuddling my kids.
