Getting in early is good! Hope your state-side trip goes as well.

We need to try and get Oz to 10,000 posts before he get to California, USA. All who enjoy the journey chime in.

And there you go, drawing me out of my cozy chair in lurk-city.

Safe travels oz, enjoying your adventure, albeit quietly!

I'm glad all worked out for you Oz. I can sympathize with everyone there. At our house is Cagayan de Oro we have about 6 Inches of water outside the door. About 3 more inches and it would have been inside. All that areas flooding came from the rain coming down off the mountains. I will be glad when I get back in Feb.

Oz, If things work out I will try to contact you to purchase a few chickens to add to my flock after I get back and make all the necessary repairs that my 5 brother-in-laws left undone.

Have a great trip.

There is no rest Oz - there is a stack of sacs of clothing waiting for you here.
My be able to drop them off in Anaheim mid month if we can co-ordinate.

I don't raise chickens anymore - I did a very long time ago. And I follow along this (and a few other BYC) threads. Why??
Because I can't shake the notion that in my advancing age, I'm becoming more and more in touch with the reality that I live in a truly insane world. Right now my home state is in an uproar around an upcoming college playoff football game - everything about it saddens me greatly. When I was young, college football was something we could actually get excited about - but then the various and sundry - local and national - marketing departments got aholt of it, and turned it all into insanity......all that hoo-haa around an event where grown men play a boys game. It's nuts!!

However, from a larger perspective, it's just one tiny little example of a much larger picture of pure insanity in the world.

You call yourself a "Crazy Chicken Man"..... I hold the strong opinion that you are one of the very few truly sane people in the world, Oz. Also... if all that I see around me is sanity - then I'll take "crazy" any day of the week.

So.....I come here from time to time to touch ground. It helps me to "dance through the madness". Thank you, and I wish you and yours all the very best.

Happy New Year!
