The only things that makes sense to me septicemia from an infection introduced by AI. An otherwise perfectly healthy animal that drops to the ground around a week after procedure with a fever, rigors, intermittent mild epistaxis.Too bad Mozza didn't perk up. If your main theory is still the AI, do you have any idea what went wrong during the insemination, or do you think the sample was tainted to begin with? Learning from what went wrong always makes a death feel a little less unnecessary.
So sad but at least the crew you have is excellent and do their best with so many animals to manage.
Hopefully these trials will not cause any of them to quit.
