Getting the Hatching Itch - again

I understand that! I've found a great space out of Windsor, but Tom isn't 'into it' and the thought of moving the gardens and all the critters just makes my head ache.

We found a nice place in Ridge Spring, but the lady wouldnt deal - her way or the higway. To meet her price would mean nothing in the bank to make the move.
Plus there's the HVAC system that needed repair, fences for the Heathen Hounds, general move in clean up and fixers... you know the deal.

So we put Lori back in the work force work and we will pile up the cash.

I was 'into it', and would have happily moved TizNotta Farm. To say I'm disappointed gets it right. You definitely need more space and Im sure DH's reluctance really gets under your skin.​

Aw, Dave, you just need you some REAL down-to-earth chickens, like Barred Rocks. Want some Lexie/Hawkeye eggs? Maybe some Ameraucanas? Sure they have beards, but my blue Ameraucana pullets have started out being excellent layers of nice quality eggs. Could get you some BR/RIR crosses from my tough broad Ruby with Hawkeye. She lays dark brown eggs and plenty of 'em. Maybe even a couple of Blue Orps or Blue Orp/Brahma crosses.

Lexie is a Barred Rock, but Lisa has some of those, I know. And the Ameraucanas are not the Easter Eggers, but the real deal. You don't seem the type, but thought I'd offer them anyway.

I am so glad I only have one bator so it has to be atleast 3 weeks between hatches. I already have more eggs coming in November and I am working on getting some more for December. I think I have a problem.

I actually looked into your Faverolles when the Sizzle thing came up the first time. I like the look of the cock, but none of them for me.
