It should not. They can fly and should be able to reach a roost of that height easily.
Yes, if there's room for wing spread...sometimes getting down can more of a problem if there's not adequate landing area(frequent issue in smaller coops) without crashing into something.
Make the roosts higher than the nest floor but not so high that it inhibits getting up and down. Keep roosts parallel to walls, diagonal roosts appear to give more roosting room but the 'corners' might not be usable as they are too close to the walls on both sides.

Hi! I hope everything is going well. After seeing your pictures, I do want to share an unfortunate experience i had last week, just for information. Henni, my Barred Rock Pullet loves to fly up and sit on my shoulder. She's such a sweet bird and she's never been forceful, aggressive, or mean in any way. She is very curious and has pecked my gums and teeth a couple of times while I was talking to her. Last week, she got my eye. I wear contacts because my vision is so bad that I can't see well enough with glasses, except for through the very center of the lenses. She got my contact lens and I couldn't find it, plus she had sand on her beak, so that was in my eye as well. It was very painful and scary to think about the possibilities. I gently bent down (her signal to jump down) and got inside. My contact lens was still on my eye, but it was torn and had moved way down below my eyelid. I was able to get it out and after an eye wash, my eye was fine. This could have went a completely different way though, so I just wanted to share with you so you can take steps to protect yourself. My daughter wears glasses, and I'll be sure to wear sunglasses at least for now. I hope this helps

Yes, i agree! it's important to be careful with this little sweeties!
they are playing with us, but can even accidentally injury us....
With my black pullets i'm very careful to gently descourage them to peck my face...:)

There's a whole thread about chicken pecking eyes on here somewhere...here:

One of the reasons I do not allow chickens to jump on me ever,
it's cute when they are little but can be quite alarming when they get bigger.
