Hi! I hope everything is going well. After seeing your pictures, I do want to share an unfortunate experience i had last week, just for information. Henni, my Barred Rock Pullet loves to fly up and sit on my shoulder. She's such a sweet bird and she's never been forceful, aggressive, or mean in any way. She is very curious and has pecked my gums and teeth a couple of times while I was talking to her. Last week, she got my eye. I wear contacts because my vision is so bad that I can't see well enough with glasses, except for through the very center of the lenses. She got my contact lens and I couldn't find it, plus she had sand on her beak, so that was in my eye as well. It was very painful and scary to think about the possibilities. I gently bent down (her signal to jump down) and got inside. My contact lens was still on my eye, but it was torn and had moved way down below my eyelid. I was able to get it out and after an eye wash, my eye was fine. This could have went a completely different way though, so I just wanted to share with you so you can take steps to protect yourself. My daughter wears glasses, and I'll be sure to wear sunglasses at least for now. I hope this helps
