Yes, if there's room for wing spread...sometimes getting down can more of a problem if there's not adequate landing area(frequent issue in smaller coops) without crashing into something.It should not. They can fly and should be able to reach a roost of that height easily.
Make the roosts higher than the nest floor but not so high that it inhibits getting up and down. Keep roosts parallel to walls, diagonal roosts appear to give more roosting room but the 'corners' might not be usable as they are too close to the walls on both sides.
