Geunine Risk gone at age 31

I hope I spelled her name right. I just thought I would let the horse fans here that the great mare Geunine Risk passed away peacefully in her paddock. She was the 2nd filly to ever win the Kentucky Derby. She had trouble carrying a foal and only produced 2 offspring.

I remember watching the Derby that day (was that really almost 30 years ago?!?) and thinking how incredible she was and how unintimidated by that whole field of colts. She was a very special one! So sad to think she's gone.
