Our first hatch of 2011 is about to start. We are a little late getting started this year due to an experiment in hatching a couple of emu eggs (another story).

Going in tomorrow morning:
12 Silver Sussex Splits (to Light Sussex) - Ordered 10, sent 2 extras. Nice, large brown eggs.

Going in next week:
10 Coronation and Split Coronation Sussex
10 Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons from Greenfire

Plus some our BO eggs and a couple of BW/W Ameraucana eggs to finish off the space left in the turner.

All of the eggs have arrived.

Silver Sussex - set 2/24, took out 3 with bloodrings, 2 not developing = 7 remaining
Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons - set 3/2 just to see if we can get any development (were not packing correctly and some were broken/scrambled, so seller sending another set)
Blue Wheaten/Wheaten Am.'s from our flock - set 3/2, 5 of 6 developing
Coronation Sussex - set 3/4
