ghCan a chicken and a partridge cross breed?

I was at a small animal swap today I bought a hen, the guy told me she was half partridge. It sounded weird to me, but I bought her anyways because she was pretty.

It's not the color partridge. she's black and white spotted, I tried the link you gave me, but it is in a different language, I am also on dial up so I can't get it to load

Bamboo partridges are the most closely related genus to *Gallus*. So if any inter-genus hybrid were to happen, they'd be at the top of my list

The second most closely related would be the francolins followed by some other partridge genuses and then Indian spurfowls
