I’d like opinions on crossing chicken breeds

I have a 2 full blooded Millie Fluer Bantams hens the rooster passed away and I was given a rooster but he isn’t full blooded maybe half Mille Fluer would it be best to use him or a silkie for the Rooster to breed the hens too ?

That's entirely up to you! Unless you have a threatened or endangered breed or want to show your birds, cross-breeding is a matter of preference. Think about what you'd like to have pecking around your coop ... Silkie feathering? Mille Fleur colors? Tiny or mid-range size? Broody mamas? That's a lot of the fun of BackYard Chickens!
