Maeve frowned. i don't think she's a harm to Ghost Town..... I think she's just trying to get away from her city. Maeve said to daisy. But for some reason, she accidentally sent that thought to the girl instead. "Crap." She muttered softly to herself.

"I accidentally talked to her instead of you. She heard what I meant to say to you." She said sheepishly.

"What if she's suspicious!" She said.

"Shhh!" She whispered harshly. She shifted into a small bluejay, flapped her wings to stretched, then curled the baby blue feathers around her tiny body.

"Sorry." She shifted into a caterpillar and inched up to Maeve.

Nicole looked around, alarmed. "What the-" Her book slipped from her hands. It landed with a thud on the soft ground below. Crap. "Hello? Who's there?"

"See? She heard me and you." She practically growled in a whisper. "C'mon, we shouldn't stay here." But she felt bad for scaring the girl and making her drop her book. Shifting into a parrot, she flew down, grabbed the book in her talons and flew back up. She dropped the book in the girl's hands and landed back on a few branches away.
