Ghost????

I see it. Ive seen other things too so I believe you if your honestly saying no one was there. I guess people who have never experienced it can say they dont believe but dont call someone else crazy.

Really...Everyone else gave us their ghost story! LOL Where is yours? I admit I love to hear a good one..

Should we build a fire and pass out marshmallows?????????

I was not there but I know for a fact there were only 5 people. 4 girls (three 17 year olds and one 19 year old, she was taking the picture) and a 43 year old woman. My hubby was there (and talked to them) but not at the house, out in the field. The drive way to the house is about a 1/2 mile long. No one could sneak in without being seen. I know that the 19 year old called my daughter hysterical after she saw the picture. My daughter thought her dog had gotten run over or her BF got hurt, I was sitting beside DD when she got the call. I have not talked directly to my son's girl friend, just to him and he said she and her mother were freaking out, can't think of another term to use. This place is out in the boonies. They would know if a little boy was there. I am not saying I am 100% convinced as I am a doubting Thomas. Maybe it was one of the girl's???? I just don't know. I have been told that no one was in that room by the 19 year old, the mother and my son said his GF told him this too. So if they are lying to me I am going to be VERY upset. I don't know why they would do this. I was good friends with the mother a long time ago but not anymore. She doesn't seem like one to play a trick like this. We'll see, this just happened on Tuesday of this week. I am not saying it's a ghost or spirit. I am just relaying to ya'll what I have been told and the picture. I don't believe this house is haunted either. This is the first time there has been a picture like this. Soo... I just don't know what to say. I do believe there are some spirits that don't know how to cross over. That doesn't mean I don't believe in Jesus Christ or the Bible.

Have you read Revelations? There is a verse that claims the dead shall roam the earth once Hell becomes full.

Anyway...

It was probably the fact that you called everyone who believes or might believe in it gullible. I'm not exactly a fan of name-calling.

Loving it! The patient FINALLY getting those processed snacks again. The little incidents to ensure that you girls weren't gonna get another sleepover (sigh, that was the lunchroom talk, eh?). Chores getting done (yeah I would have been jealous). And Cape Fear, well, now, I know that's part of the whole scene there. The whole place is full of mystery. Gotta remember that is near the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Seems like most of the stories involve someone watching over us, right? My BFF in college rented a house from her grandma. She would see an older man at the end of her hall and hey, she knew she hadn't had that much too drink! She told her grandmother who calmly pulled out the photo album and asked, "Is this him?" It was, right down to the shoes. He was the grandfather she never knew. Grandma told her to just tell him she was OK and he'd stop checking on her. So she did one night and he left but during stressful times, paw-paw would look in on her. She said she actually hated it when she moved away. Got any more?

Well let me appologize, I surely didn't intend to 'name call'. I forget some people are a little more sensitive to what others think......Gullible is not name calling either IMO. It means people tend to believe things easier than not......JMO And yes I know Revelation and understand it. The bible can get easily misunderstood.....Study it.....since we can't get into religious belief talk here....

ETA: fixed my typo...again folks, let me appologize LOL I am not perfect

Good grief folks...I don't believe in ghosts and I think people who believe in them are gullible and not looking at the wider picture..that is MO just like you have yours......Goodness.....I was just saying what I thought......Nice stories though.....goodbye thread

I am rather surprised on the blown up picture no one made mention of the severely black eye. right eye socket is almost completely blackened.
I am sure had this been a child with life someone in the party would have remembered such a blackened eye.

Also the shirt doesn't appear modern,
if you right click and save to photos you can really blow it up and then you can clearly see what is going on.
also notice just to the left of the right eye there appears to be what could be a shadow or a cut? its shaped too weird to be a weird reflection.

Is it a hoax? I dont know but its very interesting when you do a complete blow up of the boy.
The one concern I have for this being a true ghost picture if the reflection in front of him, if this was a ghost you would see the whole outline of the child, but the reflected spot hides that part of the head.
not typical of an apparition.
I could be wrong, been known to be wrong before, I would definately send it to some one who has a clean up program as a saved photo blown up is too pixeled to know for sure.

Well it really doesn't look like a girl's face. Looks about a 9-12 yo boy's face, to me. I've got an 8 and 10 yo, so around their age. If you know for a fact that the house was empty, and there were no boys there, or that either of her friends were boyish looking, then I'd say a call to TAPS was in order!

They come out for free, and they are close enough to you that it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

Whether or not the place is haunted is another issue. This could simply be a residual echo. Not a true spirit, just like a videotape of his energy where he used to look out the window all the time. Do you know what I mean? You would have to have someone come in and determine what is going on. You can get something that is similar to a haunting while people are still living. Like if you buy a house that someone lived in for years, and you are sensitive to the energies, you can sometimes hear or see it, like a recording. It's not that there are ghosts at all. You're just sensitive to energy. Photos are a great way of picking up on that energy, whether residual or interactive.

I think you should pursue this.
