How old are your BO's?

We have 26 BO's, 3 RIRs, 3 Bantams that are 25 weeks old... 2 EE's (dont know how old they are, they are not laying yet)... we got our 1st egg on 8-4-09, it was from one or our bantams at 19 weeks old, then around the end of Augs. the BO's started laying at 21 weeks old, everyone is not laying but we usually get around 17 eggs a day now... the other day we got 20.

Also I fed them 16% layer crumbles, scratch in the mornings, let them free range most evenings and they have eaten alot of veggie scrapes from all the canning/freezing I've done this year.........

I'm feeding my flock any non-meat table scraps and generic chicken feed from TSC. Should I be feeding them something better.

What does 'scratch' mean as far as feed?

Awwww man. I looked at your pics. and it does look like atleast 4 of em are roos......... at least to me it does

Sounds like your feeding em fine, I feed mine alittle scratch cause they love it... its just corn and grains.

Sorry to hear that. Bummer, I'm still waiting also. But I know they are all girls.
