I'll take pictures of the chicks once I start breeding hatching. I'll be setting up the breeding pen next month when the snow starts melting away.

I do have a plan on who I'm going select for breeding. Only two Brahmas are bigger then the other two, I also have the biggest Silkie Cockerel, & rooster that will be used.Be sure to have a plan on how to select birds for mating, before you start. Odds are you will quickly find yourself breeding pairs where neither has the full complement of traits you want in final product.
Okay, thanks for clearing that up. Yep, I have a plan for that to. Only choose from the best, & largest that's produced.I mean the crossed birds, not the breeders you have to start project.
One girl is 10lbs, the rest of the Brahmas are 7-8-9lbsHow much bigger are they then your silkies you're gonna use?
They don't have any health issues really. My Cockerel will be a year old next month.How are the broiler silkies health wise?
