I do have a plan on who I'm going select for breeding. Only two Brahmas are bigger then the other two, I also have the biggest Silkie Cockerel, & rooster that will be used.

Question. I have a really good sized Orpington cross Cockerel who's larger then my Project Orpington rooster, should I add him for those larger genes, or do you think he has hidden genes that'll hinder my Project Giant Silkies size?
I don't have updated pictures of him.

He inherited his grandfather's genes, who was a pure Orpington, & was huge.

One girl is 10lbs, the rest of the Brahmas are 7-8-9lbs

My large Silkie males weigh around 5-6lbs.

They don't have any health issues really. My Cockerel will be a year old next month.
