Here they are at 18 weeks old. I brought their father out for pictures too.

The half brothers decided they needed to have a brawl during pictures.

Depending on how my Brahmas produce eggs next year, if they have slowed down too much, I'll go ahead, & jump to adding Malay to the bloodline.

I can either use AI for the rooster, since Malays get huge, or I can use my project Giant silkie F2 cross, or his grandfather on a couple Malay hens.

I can do the Sex-linked way with fibromalenistic birds.

Male Silkie X Malay = Males with yellow, or white Skin, & Females with black skin.

So I can use this method to make sure I get some females.

Gonna order some roll away Breeding Pens to try out for next spring. Only issue is they don't seem large enough to fit a Malay, but will fit some Standard sized hens, or Bantams.
Not doing Bantams again, except for Silkies, since I have both bantam, & Largefowl silkies.

Amazon. I don't know of any other place to find them.

I could always get some Gamefowl Drop pens to use for breeding too, but those aren't that big either.
