Following. What a cool project! I’d love to see that plum egg - and I’m curious how the color is passed genetically. Plum, in my experience, is a darker brown egg with a heavy bloom. However, I thought that Silkies laid white eggs and Brahmas laid light brown. Do your Brahmas lay darker eggs?

Silkies lay, white, tinted, white speckled, tinted with speckles, & Cream. Got all these colored eggs from my silkies.

If I remember, I'll get a picture of the eggs.

My Brahmas lay Light Brown, & Brown with, or without speckles.
