That's the explanation. Fibro is an autosomal dominant gene that needs recessive sexlinked id+ to express but it's not inherently sexlinked.

My Light Green legged girl is Blue Wheaten/Duckwing Split. The chick is Partridge.

My Gold Laced(Partridge Based), & Dun Partridge Malay hens gave me Partridge chicks, mostly the Silkie crosses.

Hello--I'm following the project because I'm interested in obtaining a pair of caponized giant Silkie roos for pets some time in the future. I have zero chicken experience. I was originally hoping to find Jersey Giant crosses for friendly temperament, but I'll take what I can get. If you're looking to cull your non-aggressive roos in the future and can caponize, please keep me in mind. Thanks.

I don't Caponize Cockerels. I've looked into it before, but I don't have the right set up, nor supplies.

Well, it looks like this prolapse is gonna be an easy one to treat. Was able to get it back inside after some cleaning, & Hydrocortisone Cream. But for how long it'll stay in for, I don't know. I gave her a Calcium Citrate Tablet too incase it's a Calcium/egg issue.

So far the prolapse is staying inside.

It popped out alittle, but not as much as it was this morning. Will just have to continue treating until it resolves completely.
