GIL’S WORLD EMERGENCY 💔

honestly she always feels some degree of warm so I can’t tell if her ankle feels warmer then normal. It doesn’t look swollen or feel swollen but I’m not having the easiest time comparing both at once. I’ll try to get pics. I don’t want to take her out of the tub because that’s clearly the only time she’s not in a great deal of pain.

we were literally going to start moving into our own house today and she was going to be a free range house duck instead of an indoor pen duck :( im so upset and I’m so sad for my baby

Is there any swelling? I would suggest just letting her rest for a few days. Most likely its a sprain. Giving her vitamins can help, and is she getting niacin?

she did have a slight issue where she stopped eating oyster shell a couple weeks ago. I got a softshelled egg and dosed her with some calcium glucose. She laid two healthy eggs the next morning and then continued back to one a day. After that point she started eating her oyster shell again but she could have stopped again. I was wondering if low calcium could cause it? She was intensely trying to mate with her water bucket thing last night so I took it away and just gave her a bowl of water for the day. Slight chance she sprained the joint trying to mate her waterer.

Is there anything I can do for her pain? She just doesn’t seem like herself (aside from the limp). She’s just staring into space with glossy eyes and she just doesn’t look like my baby Gil. She’s also been panting a lot (which stopped on the tub) and she wasn’t thirsty (she had water in front of her). I think the panting was her in pain

don’t mind the sound in the video, don’t know how to turn it off but I’m trying my hardest not to cry:hmm
I see the limping, but the leg doesn’t seem out of alignment. It might be a mild sprain, nothing looks broken.
Keep her in a nice warm, quiet place where she can rest and relax. Give her food and water, and if you can get some, some B-vitamins in her water. Give her some green veggies, too. Watch and see how it goes.

Can you recommend b vitamins for me? I have vitamin b complex but I want to be sure it’s safe
