I just.. I just can't. I just can't swallow my opinion and morals anymore like I did many times. Report and ban me.

I know your heart is in the right place. I like you as a person. But seriously you can't for real keeping these ducks indoor forever? A goldfish can survive in an empty bowl; but a goldfish loves to dabble (grondel we call it). You are taking away so much from these ducks. It's a nice prison.

Get animals that handle it better. Tame rats for example. They naturally have interest in stuff humans build/make/eat. It just fits. And they are really sensitive and friendly because they are group-mammals that can interact with humans. In someway.

I have no clue why you desperately want a bird to be a (human)mammal. They just aren't. You are trying the chimpanzee thing. So cute, so human-like, let's buy and keep it.. but when older the ape comes out.

No matter how much you cover your appartment in plastic, buy diapers, run baths when you have time; It's just not what a duck needs and wants. It's what you want. You are projecting your feelings on the duck. Your human-mammal feelings. We made that mistake with cats. Resulting in a lot of discussions now if we need to keep them inside, or let them roam free, or even YIKES de-claw them... please don't do that to ducks.

I understand it. My best memory of having tame rats when I was crying and the rat came to me licked my tears away and fell asleep next to me. So comforting. It felt like it understood that I was emotional stressed. Sooo comforting. I like that memory.
Reality; tears are nice and salty.
Memory; allthough the rat licked my tears because they were salty it felt good at that moment. But I have no illusions that the rat sensed I was distressed. I don't need to make a choice because it was in that situation a good thing that happened to both of us. I was comforted, the rat had fun getting yummy tears. Both are true. No need to give the rat special unique sensing powers.

I see that you do everything in your power to provide the best for the ducks. But if ducks want a house of brick; is it usefull to upgrade their straw-house to a wooden house.

Why can't you just wait for ducks when you have the room they need. Noone raises a planned baby in a student-dorm for reasons.

Ive seen her duck beg at the door to be let in. She takes it in the woods and it fallows them back and walks right into the house on its own.

I do not like how you suggest that I have never been homeless or in jail and now that I might be autistic simply because I do not agree. I find that pretty offensive. I have been homeless and I am still now. I'n not autistic but when I have work I work with people with autism since I have a university degree in that. And people are not autistic for reasons you state now. Far from.

I recant my 'ban or remove me' remark. You made it clear that you are not capable to look at another persons vieuw without making remarks that have nothing to do with it. You are only supplying it. I am not homeless with my ducks. My ducks have a home. I'm just homeless. They have a yard, a garden, multiple ponds, they free-roam. Where they can do duck-stuff.

My homeless situation does not have affect on them since they are not humans.

I will try to apply tommorow to get in daycare, they will be delighted to get a 33 yo woman to read storys to, next to all the 3-5 year olds.

I would appreciate if you would ask about where I am coming from instead of making fantasy stories of your own. I repeatedly said I think she gives love to Gil. Can you see a thing going on here. The projecting thing I was talking about. It is not evil. It is okay. It is human. You are not at fault or a less good human then others. You just can't project that on ducks. I don't know you, I am from an other side of the world, and I 100% don't think you are less dud to being in jail or being homeless. Giving too mich credit to an animal means you have not confronted yet/came to terms yet how to act around humans. That's okay. You can come from a situation with solely stupid people. But realise that treating an animal as an human ain't going to bring you closer to what you really want.
