I am so happy you understand Gil, she and I thank everyone that supports her story. I hope I can get Gil passed as a therapy animal and I will be able to do so much more!!!

I haven't been able to get on BYC in a few days because I have been volunteering, but you would be happy to know Gil had so much fun going back to the nature trail! We went for another long walk! She cannot fly now, you were right. Adult weight plopped on and the flying stopped!!! Phew, that makes it a little easier!!!

Jeezum pete can't we all just get along! Each should be allowed their own. None of us treat their ducks the same. We all love them and that should be enough, no matter your nationalities or background. They are ducks, cute cute lovable ducks. And sometimes geese.

@Jpat okay, now that I caught up and read everything, Gil and I give you many, many thanks. She is sitting next to me and we read this together. I sat here reading everything with Gil's bill tucked under my chin because that's where she wanted to sleep. I am so happy to have people behind me that understand and believe me, especially when I say I know exactly what she's thinking because she tells me. I am so grateful she is as safe as she is too being inside!

@Raenh Gil and I also thank you!!! It takes a village of people explaining animal behavior for anyone to understand it. They are so loving and love their lives so much. I am so sorry for your loss, I can't even begin to imagine. I am suer Speedy is SOO happy with you. I agree, none of them like diapers but that doesn't mean we do! I keep Gil out of a diaper as much as possible. Just at other people's houses! What lucky ducky's we have

I hear your opinion, I just don't think you understand Gil. Your voice in not invalid but your opinion does not apply because I am in college for animal behavior and everything I am learning, along with my life experience to animals suggest there is more than enough emotion and communication between animals to humans. It's an amazing thing once you can open yourself up to it. I just want you to know about me that my animals happiness will always come second to their safety. They're all safe, and happy! Everything else does not matter.

Thats how the world got to where it is today, A melting pot of hurt feelings, caos, and Squeeky wheels using up all the grease. Leaving us a ship with no captain, No boundries between right or wrong, Left is right and right is left! Controlled oposition and shadow governments while the populations suckle at the withering teat of society trying despretely to sustain themselves but the only sustenence to the withered masses is dirty laundry spewed out by news corp. Regurgiting lies into the starving ears of millions. There IS only two answers, Right or Wrong and to all who cant understand the guidlines of common sense will be forever empty and continue the exponential decline of society itself! So i say with all my heart, NO!


But yeah we do all love our duckies even if we show it in different ways!
