Hey everyone! So today someone tried to tell me it was animal abuse "forcing" my duck to cuddle with me. I almost peed myself laughing! They clearly don't know Gilberta! Anyways, here's pictures from our late night snuggles last night. I can assure you she came to me for the cuddles and as you can see in the pictures, really enjoyed it We cuddle all the time and she loves having her belly rubbed so I'd love this ladies explanation on where the animal abuse comes in!

@HuffleClaw She's just the cutest when she tucks her bill under my neck or over my shoulder!!

@Jpat HAHA! All my friends think I am a crazy duck lady! I feel like I would need more than 1 though to fit the title. She loves climbing up onto my head from my back. She'll cuddle for a while and then be like "hmm, maybe I can become taller than you if I just stand... up here!"

Cute pictures. Whoever said it's abuse to hug a duck raised from a young age by humans is pretty clueless, but then I am sure it freaks some people out that you have Gilberta in the house at all. I wouldn't worry about those people. They are entitled to their opinions, but you know the truth, and that is what matters.
