Gimpy leg chibks - What can be done?

I had a chick hatch a week ago that could not stand up. It walks on its knees. Since then three more new hatches are having trouble walking on their right legs. One of them holds its leg straight out behind it and just hops on the good leg. Has anyone ever had this happen, or heard of this before. One of the chicks was fine when it was hatched, and has started walking funny. Please help! I have 48 chicks and am wondering if this is some weird disaese.

There is another member in this forum that is raising a chick she hatched with a bad leg also. Her chick is named Butter and it is in the title of the post. She seems pretty knowledgeable. Perhaps she can hep you.
