Ginger's first eggs

Three eggs in two days laid by my 23 week old Wheaten Maran. I really thought my Americauna would be first. These are quite a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but then, she's a 23 week old Maran. She's a pretty small little lady.

Man, those are some beautiful looking eggs! Congrats! how much do they weigh, my first three, (the only eggs I've gotten so far) weighed 39g, 41g, and 38g.

Not sure on the weight. Don't have a scale. They are certainly on the small-ish side, but I got one yesterday that was bigger. One of my BCM's also started laying... the smallest of the flock.

Got six eggs in 3 days, but none yesterday.

The girls all seem to be getting noisier and their combs are having a growth spurt, so I'm hoping they will all be laying soon.

4 Black CM, 1 Blue CM, 1 Wheaten Maran and an Americauna.

YAY!!! Sometimes they start out a little small and then work up to big girl eggs. Congrats. The chicken in my avatar is named Ginger also!
