I have gotten huge ones like that from my girls.......I'm not 100% sure who lays the brown gigantos, but I also have a white leghorn(my only white egg layer) that also lays some huge ones sometimes.......almost as big as the poor leghorn herself......Yikes!

One of my RIR lays an egg like that every day, she's almost 3 years old and her eggs haven't gotten any smaller LOL
We hatched one of them last year and got a lovely RIR roo from it.
