Well avoided diaster today in my small flock. The girls were free ranging all day as usual when my son heard them squacking and heading for cover under the deck. Looked to the edge of the woods and there was wile e coyote staring back at him. The critter took off real quick, but I am not taking any chances the girls will be in lockdown the next couple of days.....There not going to like it one bit. First run in with a predator in 6 months I really don't want to hang the dinner bell out.
