Girls Day Out!

Well...today was the day! We let the chicks out into the run for the first time! We simply lifted the door up.......and waited. They all eventually made it out, and back in....and back out...and back in....and, well you get the picture!

It was so entertaining we finally took our lawn chairs and set ourselves up and watched the little chicks discover their new world. Priceless.

Ah, retirement.....its grand!

Aren't chickens just fun to watch. I don't know what it is about them, but I just love to watch them around the yard. Pecking at things and looking around. My RIR roo likes to hang with my goat. Just funny creatures to watch.
