My 9 girls are 6 months old. 5 are laying daily, 4 not so much. One is consistently laying in the yard and those eggs always have blood on the shell. I have a real mixture of breeds as I ordered the "Easter Egg Package" from McMurray. Does this laying sequence seem off to anyone? I live in WY and it has been very cold for quite some time so I do expect better laying as it warms up. I am concerned about the blood on the shell of course. Any ideas or insight? Thanks in advance!

Some will lay in cold weather and some won't. The blood on the shell could indicate a new layer. It could also be disease. Is she maybe a new layer? Does she lay big eggs and is maybe just having a hard time starting out?
